ELISA (Enzyme linked immunosorbent Assay) : Types, procedure, Result, application

Image
Enzyme linked immunosorbent Assay   Credits : science photo We use this technique to identify antigen and antibody. Technique performed for quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative: for identifying the quantity or concentration of antigen or antibody in ELISA. Qualitative: for identifying any pathogen particle or antigen, it should be bacterial or viral present there and identify the type of antibody. There are four types of ELISA  Credits : rumruay 1. Direct ELISA 2. Indirect ELISA 3. Sandwich ELISA 4. Competitive ELISA In this article we discuss , direct, indirect, and sandwich Elisa but the competitive Elisa will be discussed in my next article. Direct ELISA : we said it direct ELISA because there is a direct interaction between enzyme linked antibody and antigen. Credits: Soleil Nordic  We perform this technique for identifying antigen. Procedure: firstly I said that for identifying antigen we perform direct Elisa technique here we take blood from the patien...

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)

Image
Abstract: Hello and welcome friends to my article. Today will discuss a very important topic for many competitive exams like CSIR,GATE,NEET etc in life sciences stream. I will try to make you understand the matter in an easy way.... Downloaded from Shutterstock. Polymerase Chain Reaction Polymerase chain reaction is a technique, used in molecular biology to amplify a single copy or few copies of particular DNA sequence. When there is a small amount of DNA then we use the method or technique for further analysis the DNA. Which can generate thousand to millions copies of particular DNA sequence. A basic PCR setup required several components and reagents. when we use the technique in the lab then we first prepare a mixture of a reaction ...... The picture is downloaded from Shutterstock.   1. At the first we need a DNA template for amplification. 2. Primers ( primers are short oligonucleotide sequence which are 15 to 20 nucleotide long ) two DNA primers that are complementary to the t...

Be what you are !

Image
Welcome friends. It's my second poem on this website. If you like the poem please put your expensive comment on the comment box.                   Be what you are ... !            One must always be different on this earth. God believes in diversity, so make us such from birth. Human being is a single being and unrepeatable. One cannot take another's place as the order is irreplaceable. You grow in the earth as a unique person. Always be yourself  as  a  first rate version. In life's journey , belief is one of the most important bricks. In any successful venture this is one of the most unbeaten tricks. Your each word is a fraction of your total impression. Which shows your characters uniqueness and perfection. .....................                     ................ subhadip Das                ( Partnership ...

Three R (3 R)

Image
Hello to all !! Its first poem on my website .                       "   Three R " Some people said that God has not any shape and face .  But I think it is false and it is just a guess . In real, God appears on earth with three Avatar . Three incarnations are Mother, Father and Teacher. If you want to feel the love of God . At first you should surrender to the lord . God's presence can be validated in 3 R . They are motheR ,fatheR and teacheR . You can feel both love and affection of the 2nd R . When you will be one's good fatheR . Since birth , you can feel the love of a motheR. This enormous love, that you can not find other.  A teacheR teaches his students to overcome from a fall. He thirsts for the distant and always restless for all.                              ......... Subhadip Das              ...

Recombinant DNA technology ( Alpha complementation and Blue white screening)

Image
Recombinant DNA Technology including Blue white screening and Alpha complementation. What is gene ? It is segment of DNA which express is specific type of protein. What is cloning? The exact genetic copies To produce multiple copies of gene we use gene cloning technology or techniques. There are some methods of gene cloning -- method for molecular cloning using polymerase chain reaction and cell free gene cloning method If we use any host cell to make multiple copies of our gene of interest then this type of methods are called cell based gene cloning method.
